Ponteland Beer Festival 2026 Delivers Another Fantastic Weekend

Thousands of people flocked to Ponteland Beer Festival over the weekend of 29th and 20th May as the popular annual event once again brought together great drinks, fantastic food,

live music and a wonderful community atmosphere.

The 2026 festival proved to be another huge success, attracting visitors from across Northumberland, Newcastle and beyond. With warm weather helping to create a brilliant early summer atmosphere, festival-goers packed the site to enjoy everything the event had to offer.

Hosted on Ponteland Rugby Club's 1st XV pitch, the festival featured an extensive selection of real ales, craft beers, ciders and lagers, alongside prosecco, wine, gins and a range of other refreshments. Visitors also enjoyed a variety of street food vendors and a packed programme of live entertainment throughout the weekend.

Now firmly established as one of the region's most popular community events, the Ponteland Beer Festival continues to grow while retaining the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that has become its trademark.

Festival organiser Richard Moller said:

The festival is only possible because of the incredible efforts of so many people behind the scenes, and we're immensely grateful to everyone who helped make this year's event such a success. The festival is organised entirely by volunteers from Ponteland Rugby Club and has become a vital fundraiser, helping to support rugby opportunities for players of all ages across the community.

Planning is already underway for Ponteland Beer Festival 2027, with organisers looking forward to building on this year's success and delivering another memorable weekend.
