Ponteland Rugby Club is saddened to learn of the passing of Cliff Varah , at the age of 98. Cliff was a valued member of our club community and served as Club Secretary in the late 1980s . Consett 3rd XV 33 - 47 Ponteland 2nd XV Ponteland RFC 2nd XV travelled to Consett for what proved to be a high-scoring and hard-fought encounter, eventually coming away with a 47–33 victory.
