We beat Hartlepool RFC 45-21, a winning margin of 24 points. Number 8 Cam Horrocks crossed in the first quarter, but Hartlepool replied with two tries before Outside Centre Richard Moller scored for us.

It was a busy opening spell. Hartlepool got over twice, then Moller crossed to put another try on the board for our team. Moller also made 11 tackles, the most in the team.

Openside Flanker Will Reavley scored in the second quarter. Hartlepool crossed again before Fullback Jonnie Bell added our next try in the same quarter. Reavley won two turnovers, the most of any forward.

Bell scored again in the third quarter, then completed his hat-trick with another try in the final quarter. He is our Player of the Match: three tries, four carries and 111 metres from kicks.

Openside Flanker Chris Searle also crossed in the final quarter. He made nine tackle assists, the most in the team and the most of any forward. Scrum-half Dan (Ronnie) Sewell threw 53 passes, the most in the team.

Our total kicking distance was 615 metres. We also gave away 13 infringements, and our tackle success and scrum and lineout success were all tagged as worse than typical in the team comparison, though those rates aren't included here.

Bell's third try came in the final quarter, completing his hat-trick for us.
