Blaydon 36 - 46 Ponteland
Ponteland U15s produced a fantastic all-round team performance to secure an impressive 46–36 victory over a strong Blaydon side.

From the opening whistle, the game was fast-paced and fiercely contested, with both teams showing real attacking intent. Ponteland’s forwards set the tone early, with Louie M and James W dominating the physical exchanges and laying a solid platform for the backs to build from. Captain TJ led from the front with a huge performance — his work rate, leadership, and determination setting the standard across the team.
Scrum-half, Henry C was outstanding, controlling the tempo of the game with smart decision-making and crisp distribution. In the centre, Finley H was immense in defence, putting in several big tackles that stopped Blaydon’s attacks in their tracks.
Man of the Match went to Oliver Cram, who was exceptional throughout — a constant threat with ball in hand and tireless in his defensive effort.
It was a superb team win built on teamwork, commitment, and belief. The U15s showed real character and cohesion, and this result will give them great confidence as the season continues.
