Well Deserved Win in the Cup

A great day and both sides up for it. An even start with both sides attacking well , Pont had a good early run but Novos responded and in for a try 0-5.
From the restart Pont are down to 14 with Luke off for a dump tackle. Penalty "yes", yellow card "harsh".
Novos keep applying the pressure but Pont are keeping their shape but a ball out wide to Novos danger man 0-10.
Pont respond well though and some good Pont forwards pressure sees the backs in and Charlton over 5-10.
Pont kept applying the pressure but a few mistakes sees Novos in again 5-15.
Pont were not giving up though and a great break sees Ben with a break away try 10-15 half time.
Second half and Pont were up for it, and early Pont penalty but no conversion, 10-15 still.
Pont kept on the front foot though and another Charlton try sees us level 15-15.
Pont forwards were camped in Novos half, yet another Pont penalty sees Carruthers kick just wide.
Another Pont penalty sees another miss from the boot, but Pont kept great pressure on through the forwards and finally young Charlton over to make it 15-20 then finally Will slots home through the posts 15-22.
From the kick off a superb run up the field by Craig sees Pont see out the game in Novos half. Final score 15-22.
Pont - great season and true team spirit sees the first bit of silverware over the line , the league is next.
