A bare 15 but Pont are up for the game, KO sees Sunderland put the pressure on but Pont cleared their lines well , penalty Pont up to the 5 metre with a line out , great throw , Scotty catch and over for the try 7-0 after a good conversion
Sunderland straight back though and a scrappy try 7-5
Some good work from Pont and a short 4 man line out sees Pont into Sunderland last 10 , nearly a try ,,scrummage lost by Pont and Sunderland clear their lines for a line out , great Pont win it and a tremendous drive to the line , Scotty over to make it 12-5
The game started to level out with both sides taking pressure then clearing their lines, Pete cleared again for Pont with a great kick down field
Half time 12-5 to Pont
Second half started with Pont forcing the pace and a great kick down field from Shiells Pont kept the pressure on and a great run and chase from Sean to 5 metres of sunderland line, the forwards are quick in ball out to the backs and a good strong run from James Ta and over for the try under the posts 19-5
Ko and another good run from James TA and up to the halfway , Pont went down to 14 men Scotty was knackered after his two try's (knackered knee he tells us lol)
Sunderland were back on it straight away though and over for a try 19-10
They kept the pressure on but a good spoil by Pont on the line saw them clear , Sunderland were straight back on it again and scored through a dirty drive 19-17
Ko and Sunderland were straight back on it but some great work from Laser and the forwards plus Pont backs getting stuck in with the forwards secured the points , well well deserved win lads
