As we approach the end of the season and our AGM, we’ll see some changes to our leadership at Ponteland RFC.
One of those roles includes that of Head Coach, Dave Reed who is stepping down after 4 years in the role due to an increase in work commitments.
“I want to thank the club for the opportunity to be your coach it’s been an absolute privilege. I will miss Thursday night pints with John and funny handshakes with David. Most of all, I will miss being part of a great Northumberland club. You have helped me to develop as a person and a coach. For that I am always going to be grateful”
President, David Comeskey, added “With John Mann standing down, after what seems like decades, and Dave stepping back I would like to thank both of them for their commitment, coaching expertise and loyalty to Ponteland rugby club. - big boots to fill indeed”
